Hello, I'm Joan Martinez, a Sound Producer and Designer based in London, England.
I've worked on various audiovisual projects, including the short films Castaways and Lumi: The Lunar Explorer, as well as the feature film Three Wishes for Christmas.
My work focuses on creating immersive soundscapes, designing atmospheres, and editing and post-production sound, adding emotional and narrative depth to each project.
About Joan Martinez
I am a London-based Sound Producer and Designer.
My interest in sound began at age 12, inspired by the world of video games and their ability to create immersive universes through audio. Since then, I have developed a deep passion for sound design as a narrative and emotional tool.
Throughout my career, I have maintained a consistent focus on sound design, exploring the creation of atmospheres, textures, and soundscapes that bring identity and depth to each project. I also compose music when the project requires it, integrating composition and sound design in a coherent and organic way.
My professional development has led me to collaborate with creatives from diverse backgrounds and to visit various countries to broaden my vision, acquire new cultural perspectives, and enrich both my personal and professional growth. I believe that international experience and creative exchange are fundamental to evolving within the audiovisual industry.
Although sound is my specialty, I maintain a multidisciplinary mindset. I also have experience in video and photo editing, which allows me to understand projects from a broader perspective and contribute more integrated solutions within the production process.
My goal is to continue exploring, learning, and creating, always keeping curiosity and creativity as the driving force behind my work.
